Nikwax Twin Tech Wash & Softshell Proof 300ml.

The Nikwax Twin Tech Wash & Softshell Proof provides you with everything you need to enhance the performance of your softshell garments.

Tech Wash is a specialised wash-in cleaner which will revitalise the breathability and water repellency of your softshell textiles. Once clean, use the Softshell Proof to add water-repellency and the revive breathability of your gear. Both of these products will not leave any residue behind on your garments and are both easy to use.

Nikwax Twin Tech Wash & Softshell Proof is suitable for use on all fabrics, including technical textiles, it is water-based, environmentally friendly, biodegradable, non-flammable and non-hazardous. It does not contain fluorocarbons.

• Nikwax Tech Wash 300ml: Specialised wash-in cleaner which will revitalise the breathability and water repellency of your softshell textiles.
• Nikwax Softshell Proof 300ml: Adds water-repellency and the revive breathability of your gear.

Nikwax Tech Wash -

How To Use In A Washing Machine:

• Use neat Tech Wash® and a sponge, or soft nylon brush, to treat stubborn stains before washing. Remove all non-washable parts. Shake well before use. Follow care label instructions. Do not use conventional detergents.
• Remove all detergent build up from the detergent dispenser.
• Place item(s) in washing machine (maximum 2 items).
• Use 150ml in medium/hard water* areas and 100ml in soft water areas for 1-2 items.
• Wash according to care label.

* If your kettle furs up you have hard water. For extreme hard water use 200ml.

How To Use If Hand Washing:

Use gloves.

• Immerse item(s) in 6L hand-hot water in sink or bowl.
• Use 150ml in medium/hard water* areas and 100ml in soft water areas for 1-2 items.
• Rinse 3 times in clean water.

*If your kettle furs up you have hard water. For extreme hard water use 200ml.

How To Dry:

• If the item doesn’t require re-waterproofing, air dry or tumble dry on a low setting if care label allows.
• If you intend to re-waterproof the washed item there is no need to dry it first.

How To Use In A Washing Machine:

• For best results remove all non-washable parts and always clean item(s) first with Nikwax Tech Wash® in a separate wash cycle. No need to dry item(s) before waterproofing.
• Remove all detergent build up from the detergent dispenser.
• Place maximum of 2 clean garments in washing machine.
• Use 100ml per garment.
• Run 30°C synthetic cycle and slow spin.
• To maintain waterproofing always wash with Nikwax Tech Wash®. Do not use detergents.

How To Use If Handwashing:

• Use gloves.
• Immerse 1 clean garment in 6L of hand-hot water in a bowl or sink.
• Add 100ml of SoftShell Proof™.
• Agitate to mix, leave to soak for 5-10 minutes, then agitate thoroughly.
• Rinse with cold water until water runs clear.

How To Dry:

• Air dry or tumble dry on a low setting if care label allows.
